Struggles of Being a Woman

 This is a visual poem I created that shows only some of the expectations and standards that women are expected to follow. The big ball of words in the center symbolizes my head/mind. It says "being a woman" and it's just a swirling never-ending ball of chaos. The words/phrases that are off to the side represent some of the different things I have heard growing up and still hear to this day. Some of these things have been said to me directly. I wanted to show how difficult it can be sometimes to be a "proper lady" even in today's time and how ridiculous some of these standards are.
